	San Diego General Nurseries & Garden Centers - a list of general nurseries and garden centers in the San Diego area sorted by region.
	Local Boy Scout Troops - may be willing to assist in gardening projects as an Eagle Scout project.
	Local High School Industrial Arts Classes - may be willing to provide small construction projects such as raised bed frames, benches, fences, birdhouses, or work tables.
FINANCIAL RESOURCES
	California Fertilizer Foundation - $500 grants for garden creation or expansion. Print out and mail application - deadline October 1, 2000.
	California Department of Education - grants for garden-enhanced nutrition education.
	California Department of Food and Agriculture - provides a list of suggestions for sources of financial assistance.
	General Mills Box Tops for Education - nationwide fundraising program that helps K-8 schools earn extra cash by clipping and saving Box Tops logos.
	Youth Garden Grants Program - annual grants by the National Gardening Association consisting of a $750 assortment of quality tools, seeds, and garden products. Deadline for 2001 grant is November 1, 2000.
