To conserve, restore and enhance the environmental features of the Aqua Hedionda Lagoon, wetlands, and watershed area through public education and awareness.
Top Five Watershed Issues: Contributions made to the Watershed program, challenges, lessons learned, questions:
Nature Center within a year. We are leaders in public access and trail issues. Member of the Carlsbad Watershed Network (CWN). Involved in water quality studies.
Special accomplishment: Enlisted over 100 volunteers to build first section of Carlsbad Trail System/received approval from Carlsbad City Council for volunteer program and received Grant with help from CWN.
