Purpose and Interests of the organization:
Ensure the protection and preservation of Tribal Land and their ecosystem. Coordiante and communicate to implement environmentally sound, culturally appropriate, sustainable programs and policies.

Authority for Organization if part of a governmental process (Federal, State or Local regulation).
Tribal coalition established to coordinate environmental programs among tribes. Educate and make recommendation to the tribal members.

1.  Assessments of visitors impact on the head waters of San Luis Rey River
2.  Springs and wetland habitat preservation.
3.  Assessment of Wetlands within Pechanga Reservation
4.   Watershed resources utilization
5.  Challenge of implementing environmental programs within sovereign tribal governments

NAEPC can provide training and disseminate information to its member Tribes. Question - Water quality monitoring, sand removal, flow control from Lake Henshaw wilderness designation.
