2. Do we need protection/preservation of watershed area
3. Waste management issues in watershed
4. Sand mining/rock quarry issues
5. Channelization of river areas
Please list contributions that your organization could make to the Watershed program,
challenges you are facing, lessons learned, remaining questions, special accomplishments.
Challenges: Putting together a well-balanced group defining a role outside of specific grant requirements, what should the status of watershed council be after "plan" is developed. Finally, funding to continue programs, how to implement? Need for projects to keep momentum going.
